Dennis Michael Mohoroski

Dennis Michael Mohoroski of Weirton, WV, a caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from COVID-19. He was 62.
Born in Weirton, WV, on November 21, 1958, Dennis was the firstborn of three sons to Michael and Mary Ann Hrustic Mohoroski.
Dennis graduated from Weir High School and continued his education at WVU, and graduated from West Liberty. He had over 40 years in the banking industry, working 39 years at Hancock County Savings Bank, where he was presently working.
Dennis met Linda Gima on a blind date. They fell in love and were married on June 5, 1983. IN 1987, they were blessed with a son, Matthew. In their 38 years of marriage, they were also blessed with a granddaughter and a step-granddaughter.
Dennis and Linda enjoyed going to the movies on weekends and bowling together. Dennis also enjoyed watching sports on television and was a die-hard Minnesota Vikings Fan.
He was a member of Saint Mary’s Byzantine Church and formerly an active member and Past-President of the Weirton Kiwanis Club.
Most of all, Dennis will be remembered for being caring and trustworthy.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Stephen “Moe” Mohoroski, on December 20, 2020.
He will be remembered with love by his wife, Linda; his son, Matthew, his granddaughter, Addelyn Andrews, his step-granddaughter, Sophie Andrews; and his brother, Robert “Bobby Mo” Mohoroski (Cheryl); and his nephews, Michael and Danny Mohoroski.
Friends and relatives will be received on Wednesday from 3 pm until 6 pm at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV.
A Parastas service will be held at 6 pm in the funeral home.
Blessing services will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday in the funeral home.
A funeral liturgy will be held at 10 am Thursday at the Saint Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church 3116 Elm Street, Weirton, WV.

Interment will follow at Saint Paul’s Cemetery.
MANDATORY: MASKS WILL BE EXPECTED TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.
