Dolores H. Huber, 81, of Weirton, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 in the Stone Pear Pavilion in Chester, WV. Born June 18, 1930 in Steubenville, OH, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Borkowski Chociej. She was also preceded in death by her husband Joseph H. Huber, brothers Alex, Herman, Richard, Paul and John Chociej, sisters Claire Carr, Mary Zebo and Alice Church and two infant brothers. Mrs. Huber was a homemaker, a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and Christian Mothers. The love of her life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed trips to Disney World, square dancing and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dolores is survived by her sons Richard J (Shari) Fickes of Colorado Springs, CO, Robert P (Caron) Fickes of Silt, CO and James M (Maryann) of New Philadelphia, OH; daughters Diane M. (Michael) Plesa and Barbara A. (Buck) Coburn all of Weirton and Mary Alice (Jim) Grattan of Pittsburgh, PA; brother Vincent Chociej of Steubenville; sister Margaret (Richard) Eloi of Weirton; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 12:30 PM Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Father Larry Dorsch officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, OH 43943 or St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 140 Walnut Street, Weirton, WV 26062.
