Donald E. Anderson, 72, of Weirton, died Saturday, June 25, 2005 at Kindred Hospital in Oakdale, PA. He was born February 5, 1933 in Middlebourne, WV, a son of the late Arzia A. and Lula (Patterson) Anderson. He was also preceded in death by 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 step-sons, Bob and Ray Adams. Donald retired from Painter’s Union Local 438. He was a member of the Church of the Pentecost. Donald is survived by his wife, Juanita (Moore) Anderson of Weirton; one daughter, Peggy Sue Smith of Friendly, WV; two step-daughters, Wanda Adams of East Liverpool, OH and Patricia Smallwood of Wellsville, OH; one step-son, Ronnie Adams of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two sisters, Norma Long and Lullabelle Henderson, both of Middlebourne, WV; grandson, Kevin Smith; great grandson, Kevin Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday. Rev. Robert Keenan will preside. Don, I still can’t believe your gone, i knew you were ill and all but i would have like to say goodbye i remember when i was little sitting on your poorch always talking to you and playing in your yard with all my cousins and josh shields and chuckie… it was so fun…sometimes we would burrow your lawn mower you would always let us no matter what..i’ll always rememeber you!!! and my prayers are with you!
