She always had a good story to tell and made me laugh every time. I have nothing but great memories of her.
To the family, I also have recently lost my Mother (Julia Maine) who was a “dear friend” of your Mothers. My Mom spoke often about all the great times they shared over the years(Church,Camp Fire Girls, and their friendship). They now are together in heaven continuing their lives not just for God but with God. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Sorry for you loss, I am late in posting, but I wanted to let you know Dorothy was super as was Bennie. They were so kind to my daughter Brieann while at Scottyland. We were campers for about 26 years at Scotyyland. I rememb er the 2 days of Turtle trapping. One turtle ended at the Pittsburgh zoo. That is when your mom learned about turtle sex from the head turtle guy.. The next turtle event was when she killed a turtle and my daughter learned to make turtle soup from scratch. Two ther times was when she sent out for crabs from Frostburg Maryland, we all paid for our own…. that is when I found out that I was allergic to shelled things….spent the nite in the camper bathroom. The other memory was having fried a HEAPED up picnic table of fish for almost the entire campground. Wish I could talk to you 1 on 1. Hope your pain has eased some. Fred, Beth and Brie.
