Dorothy Louise Trosch
November 19, 1921 ~ December 22, 2008
After a valiant battle, Dorothy Louise (Bryan) Trosch, 87, of Weirton, succumbed to complications of surgery on Monday, December 22, 2008 at the Kindred Hospital in Oakdale, PA. Born November 19, 1921 in Sidney, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John and Zita Schaaf Bryan. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ira B. Trosch on June 11, 1983, brothers John "Lloyd" Bryan and Eugene "Dude" Bryan.
Dorothy was a homemaker and was Catholic by faith.
Mrs. Trosch is survived by her children Judith Trosch (Thomas) Stone of Pendleton, IN, Eugene "Gene" (Verna) Trosch of McCalla, AL and Zita Trosch (Sherman) Stickles of Weirton; 6 grandchildren Thomas (Cynthia) Stone of Noblesvile, IN, Cynthia (Brad) Wright of Mooreland, IN, Stacy (Wayne) Zapotoczny of Weirton, Eric Trosch of Birmingham, AL, Bethany Trosch of Summit, MS, Melissa (Tanner) Bailey of McCalla, AL and 7 great-grandchildren Jeremy Bennett of Pendleton, IN, Chelsie, Rachel and Wayne D. Zapotoczny of Weirton, Caleb Trosch of McCalla, AL, Robert Stone of Noblesville, IN and Aaron Bailey of McCalla, AL.
Friends will be received Friday, December 26 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be conducted at 11AM Saturday. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
