Dorothy M. Stonebraker, 89, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009, at the Acuity Specialty Hospital in Steubenville, OH.
Born July 28, 1919 in Steubenville, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Maria D. ViHorio DiStefano. She was also preceded in death by her husband Paul D. Stonebraker on January 23, 2006, son Donald Stonebraker, brothers Angelo, Albert and Victor DiStefano, twin sister Dolores D'Aurora, sisters Agnes Humpe, Lena Irvin, Dena DiStefano, Violet Rawson, Theresa DePalma and Pauline Carmichael and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Stonebraker was a homemaker and a member St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
Dorothy is survived by her son William and his wife Brenda and Herbert Stonebraker of Steubenville and Norman Stonebraker and his wife Theresa of Weirton; daughter Marilyn Crago and her husband Bill of Weirton; brother Nicholas DiStefano of Steubenville; grandchildren Michael, Douglas, Steven, William D., and Vince Stonebraker, Cynthia Wright and James Acconcia, Jr. and 12 great-grandchildren.
Private visitation will be held at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 140 Walnut Street, Weirton, WV 26062.

Sorry for the loss of your mother. I was there taking care of her the night she passed. She was a very sweet woman and just know she’s at peace now and she’s in no more pain and suffering. My prayers are with each of you as I to know what it’s like to lose your Mother, but you know she’s resting in peace now and she’ll always be with you where ever you are or what ever your doing.
