Dorothy Sadik

Dorothy Sadik, 88 of Weirton died Thursday April 5, 2001 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. Dorothy was born on January 13, 1913 in Braddock, PA, the daughter of the late Mike and Mildred Magra Merkich. She was also preceded in death by her son Millard Chumura, four sisters and two brothers. Dorothy was a waitress before her retirement. Her son, Nick Merkich of Weirton, survives. Dorothy has two granddaughters living in Michigan, Christine Schanan and Lisa Biondo. She also has four great grandchildren. Friends and family will be received Saturday from noon until time of service at 1PM at Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. The V.Rev.Father Rade Merick will officiate. Interment will be in the Serbian Cemetery, Weirton.
