Douglas Joseph Donovall

Douglas Joseph Donovall of Colliers passed away at his residence on Sunday, June 26, 2022. He was 60 years old. Doug was born in Burgettstown, PA., on April 15, 1960, a son of Joseph and Francine (Cain) Donovall. Doug was a 1980 graduate of Burgettstown High School and had worked for NEO Industries for over 26 years as head of maintenance and plant supervisor. His family describes Doug as a hard-working, caring, and dependable individual who enjoyed working on small engines. Most often, you would find him after work tinkering with something while listening to his favorite radio station, WDVE. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting locally and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Donovall. Remembering him fondly at home is his wife Denise Lamp Donovall of Colliers, daughter Jennifer (Eric) Brunner of Weirton, sons Douglas (Cara) Donovall of Charleston, WV., Dylan Donovall of Colliers, granddaughters Cadyn and Evelyn Donovall and Freya Brunner, sisters Diana Simakis, and Darla Donovall. Doug’s request for cremation has been honored. A memorial visitation will be held Thursday from 5-7 PM at the Greco- Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219, Main St., Weirton, WV.
