Edna Hudachek

Edna Hudachek, 79, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born February 14, 1928 in Mingo Junction, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John and Theresa Matzko Garish. Edna was also preceded in death by her sister Joan Hudachek and brother Dr. Francis Garish.
Edna was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers.
Edna’s survivors include her husband Joseph Hudachek of Weirton whom she married October 7, 1950; her loving family Dr. Carol Hudachek of Weirton, Joan DiCicco and her husband Michael of Acton, MA, Susan Hudachek of Pittsburgh, PA, Jean Hudachek and her fiancé William Bletzer of Grafton, MA, Joseph Hudachek of Weirton, John Hudachek and his wife Starla of White Hall, MD and Robert Hudachek of Scottsdale, AZ; sister Rita Hirkala of Weirton and grandchildren Daniel DiCicco and Johnathan and Gracen Hudachek.
The family will receive friends Wednesday 6-8 PM and Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where the Knights of Columbus Rosary will be recited 7 PM Thursday. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Friday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Reverend Father Dean Borgmeyer will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.

Edna was so kind to my Mother and Dad, Ann and John Pillar. She is and was a pleasant and loving soul.
