Elsie L. Blakemore
August 17, 1916 ~ September 7, 2008
Elsie Blakemore, passed away on September 7, 2008 at Brightwood Nursing Home. She was born in Wellsville, OH on August 12, 1916. She was 92, the daughter of the late Albert and Stella Wheetley Beech.
She was preceded in death by her husband William S. Blakemore, her son William E. Blakemore, brother Charles Beech, and sisters Evelyn Clahoun and Phyllis Baker.
She leaves behind a sister, Jean Flasco and her husband James of East Liverpool, OH; brother Albert Beech and his wife Vera of Winterpark, FL; brother Robert Jack Beech and his wife Ann of Wellsville, OH; daughter in law Dorothy Blakemore of Weirton; grandsons, Robert J. Blakemore of Weirton, William J. Blakemore and his wife Denise of Weirton; granddaughters, Ren'ee Reaves and her husband Donald of Durham, NC, Lori Pose and her husband Scott of Raleigh NC; 8 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Elsie was employed by Marantz Clothing Store and Denmark's for many years. She was Episcopalian by faith.
There will be no visitation, private services will be held by the family.

Dear Dorothy and Family, Dear Elsie was one of a kind. She was always smiling, full of love and energy. She taught me a lot about life when I worked as a teenager at Marantz’s in the 50’s. She is one of the most unforgettable people that I have every met. She will be stirring things up in Heaven. God bless all of you.
