Elsie Mary Durante
October 3, 1922 ~ February 8, 2002
Elsie M. Durante, 79, of Weirton died Friday, February 8, 2002 at the Weirton Medical Center.
She was born on October 3, 1922 in Wellsburg, WV, the daughter of the late Julius and Mary DiPasquale Staffileno. Her brothers, Joseph and Albert Staffileno and her sister, Lena Luciana, also preceded Mary in death.
She was a member of Saint Joseph the worker Roman Catholic Church in Weirton.
Surviving, include her husband Ralph, whom she married on July 19, 1941; her son, Gerald Durante and his wife Lucille of New Manchester, WV and her daughter, JoAnn Barnabei and her husband, Robert of Weirton.
Her 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive her.
Visitation will be 1-3 & 7-9 PM Sunday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday at Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church.
Monsignor L. Luciana will be the celebrant.
Interment will be in Saint Paul Cemetery, Weirton
