Emaline Tucci

I have been attending funerals at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home since I was in grade school, so, it has been over 40 years. Many relatives, including my father were laid to rest by this caring and professional staff. In recent years, my mother has lost two sisters. John Greco has, in both instances, treated her with kindness, respect and a tenderness that goes beyond what is required of the services provided by a funeral home. I would like to thank him and all of the staff for everything that was done. It meant so much to my mother, and to me and my siblings, that she was able to say good-bye to her loved ones with a funeral home that treats their clients as family. Thank you so very much!
Best place to be readied for the final resting place in the area, very friendly staff and owners. Will treat You like family. Stop in and see them for your final arrangements, you'll be glad U did.
We have nothing but praise for all the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home employees. At the time of such sorrow in the loss of our Son Benton our family was treated with gentle care and kindness. The quality of care for our son and respect given to him was such a comfort. Thank You From The Manypenny’s Larry, Connie, Bruno and Uncle David D Montelione

My dear mother recently passed away and my father made her funeral arrangements through Greco. Their presentation of her and the service that followed were absolutely beautiful. It was better than I could have imagined, and I am certain that my mother would have been pleased with the staff's professionalism and kindness. In a time of such vast sorrow, I am grateful to know that my mother was ushered into her final journey by a very talented and thoughtful group of people. I thank them all.
My family recently experienced a tremendous loss unexpectedly. John and the entire team were understanding, compassionate and guided us to a perfect Celebration of Life. They listen to what is wanted and requested and offered solutions to fit our need. We highly recommend Greco-Hertnick.
This establishment and the folks dealing with us who have lost our loved ones is nothing but first class. Their care and concern shows in every interaction. I’ve known John Greco for most of my life, but have not been in Weirton for any length of time in over 40 years. When my mother in law passed away recently, John and his team did everything to get her from Seattle back to WV and buried with her kin in Charleston. They alleviated every responsibility from our shoulders, helped to discover what we or she wanted, and allowed us to grieve. I would highly recommend their services to anyone, whether pre-planning or needing assistance when pre-planning didn’t happen.
John and Scott were so kind and considerate when our dog Stewie passed away. He died in his sleep on a Friday night. They were here in 15 minutes on a Saturday morning. We appreciate their kindness and professionalism during a difficult day. We have nothing but great things to say about this organization.
Thank you!
Mackenzie Lee and Maureen McElwain
They did a wonderful job having my husband funeral . I also pre planned my funeral .They are super nice also.
John and Anthony went above and beyond every expectation I had during a difficult time.
Thank you for all you did for my family.
My elderly mother died very unexpectedly from COVID. Fortunately for us, she'd planned for her passing years prior. The funeral home took such good care in making sure that her wishes were carried out. There was one change due to unforeseen circumstances on my mom's part; and they were very upfront with that. I feel like she could not have gotten any better care. I also feel like the family could not have had any better care. They were very sensitive to our family's grief for an unexpected passing of a loved one. Prior to meeting with the funeral home, I was warned about funeral homes, in general, trying to upsell families on what was already planned by the deceased. I can honestly and happily say that such things never took place. For example, my mom did not want to have flowers unless they were sent by others. They didn't have to tell us that. In our grief, they could have sold us anything; but they didn't. They were honest and extremely helpful; and I am extremely grateful, and I know my family is as well.
My heartfelt thanks to Greco's for the wonderful funeral they provided for my husband, who passed away this past summer.
Anthony,Scot & John were very caring, kind and knowledgeable and fulfilled every request our family had from the Heartfelt Obituary to the moving service with Military Honors to delivering Plants and Gifts to our home following the services.
At a time like this, one needs kindness, compassion and guidance and they certainly provided that to our family. Our sincere thanks and appreciation for all you did for us and the way you honored my husband’s memory.
In the last 30 years I have had the privilege of using Greco-Hertnick on two occasions. The building is very accommodating, and has a vintage mystique with modern amenities. The staff is second to none! Treating my family with compassion, and care. assembling a beautiful Catholic mass, along with St Paul's church giving my mom the send off to be the Lord To the staff thank you from the bottom of my heart for your treatment & care.

My condolences to Mrs. Tucci’s family. I was in her homeroom years ago and still remember her teachings. She was a great teacher and gave me confidence to do things I would not normally have attempted. She helped to shape the lives of countless children during her long tenure as a school teacher—and we are all better for knowing her. God bless you!
Mrs. Tucci is who most of us contribute our handwriting skills to. She was my 6th grade teacher and I remember sitting in her classroom and being able to watch the movers move our furnishings from our house on Beverly Ave. It was a sad day for me, my last day in her classroom. The next day I was a student at Millsop School on Marland Heights. I remember swimming in her pool in the summers and her kind family. My deepest sympathy to you all. God Bless You.
My deepest sympathy to the Tucci family. I and my family were neighbors of Mr. & Mrs. Tucci for many years down Edgewood and Mrs. Tucci taught me 4th & 5th grade at Edgewood. She and your father were two of the finest people I have ever known.
Larry and Linda: So sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. My deepest sympathy to all of you. May she rest in peace. Love and prayers.
