Emily Eustine Olashuk

Emily E. Olashuk, 89 of Weirton passed away Wednesday December 27th, 2000 at her residence. She was born on February 23, 1911 in Monessen, PA, the daughter of the late Leon and Josephine Koloddzieski Obremski. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael John olashuk on April 14, 1973and by nine brothers and sisters, Genevieve vierbicky, Van Obremski, Josephine Obremski, Frank Obremski, Helen Lash, Irene Milam, Stanley Obremski, Ray Obremski, Louise Edwards. Emily was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Church, Saint Joseph Christian Mothers, E.T. Weir Senior Citizens, Tadeusz Kosciuszko Society. She also volunteered as a feeder at the Weirton Geriatric Center for several years and also volunteered as a librarian at Saint Joseph the Worker Grade School. Surviving are her children, John Olashuk and his wife Leanora of Weirton, Sonya Miller and her husband Dave of Louden, TN and Ken Olashuk and his wife Mary Kay of Follansbee, WV. She is also survived by one brother Robert Bryden of Wintersville, OH and nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Visitations will be 2-4 & 7-9 Friday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be 10:30 AM Saturday at Saint Joseph the Worker Church Weirton, WV. Interment will be in Saint Paul Cemetery, Weirton, WV.
