Ernest J Kidd

Ernest J. Kidd, 61, of Weirton, died on Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital, in Weston, WV. Ernest was born on May 15, 1940 in Clarksburg, WV a son of the late Ernest Fleming and Althea Myrtle Chamberlain Kidd. Ernest is retired from Local 132 as an operating engineer, he also served in the US Navy. He is survived by his longtime companion, Patricia Johnson, one son: Jeffrey Gerald Kidd of Ravenswood, WV, 3 daughters: Mrs. William (Lisa) Workman of Roanake, WV, Mrs. Howard (Althea) Workman of Troy, WV and Nikki Kidd of Raccoon Township, PA, 1 brother: Russell “Rusty” Kidd and his wife Donna of Weirton, one sister: Jeanette “Cookie” Shields of Weirton, 3 grandchildren, William Workman, Jr., James Workman, Kenneth Raulston, Jr, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday, June 22, 2001, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 23, at 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
