To all of Ethel’s family, I bowled with Ethel many years ago and she was truly a “lady” always. In recent years she played cards with my Mother-in-law………..she’s very special and I’m sure will be very missed by her family and friends. Please accept my deepest sympathy and prayers, Janice
Got to know Ethel while she was in The Laurels of Steubenville, as my grandmother was a resident there for awhile. Ethel had a beautiful heart and a kind soul. I enjoyed sitting and talking with her during our visits. May she rest in peace and may God comfort all of you during this difficult time. Ethel is a special woman. Love and prayers, Carrie
I got to know Ethel as she was a friend of my Aunt Lucille Earley Burns. She was so nice and always concerned about my Aunt after she moved to live with her son in Indiana. I will always have fond memories of Ethel and you have my sincere sympathy. Barbara Trushel
We are saddened by the death of Ethel. We were neighbors of Ernie and Ethel for a number of years and we enjoyed knowing both.
My condolences to the Sabik and Nagy family. Dec. 1961 I played in the Junior College Rose Bowl game in Pasedena, California. Before the game my team was warming up and this guy called me from the crowd in the stands. I went over to him, he told me he was a Nagy from Weirton. He asked about the Kelley family, especially my uncle Jody. And his last words to me was “show them how we play football in Weirton”. Of course I did. (smile)
What can I say about Aunt Ethel? She was not just another pretty face, she had a love for her family that couldn”t be surpassed. Aunt Ethel had high moral standards and a deep love for her religion and she loved my mother deeply to which I will always hold her in high regard. When that trumpet sounds I hope to see her again.
Ethel was great-grandmother to my grandsons TJ and Jordan who say they remember her as always trying to get them to be still for a photograph. While we did not know her personally, our sincerest condelences go out to her family. You are in our thoughts.
