Evelyn Jean Owen

Evelyn Jean Owen, 60, of Follansbee, WV, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born July 7, 1953 in Steubenville, OH, she was a daughter of the late Eustace and Yolanda Iacuone Pegnalitti. She was also preceded in death by her brother Joseph Pegnalitti.
She was a homemaker who loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren.
Evelyn is survived by her husband of over 37 years, Lewis W. Owen III of Follansbee; son Lewis W. Owen IV of Follansbee; daughters Lori A. (William) Powers of Steubenville and Rebecca (Chris) Day of Ashland, KY; brother James (Sue) Pegnalitti of Toronto, OH; sisters Barbara Penebaker of Wintersville, OH and Emelia (Jerry) Bende of Columbus, OH and 4 grandchildren Jonathon, Katelyn and Brandon Miller and Logan Day.
Friends will be received Saturday, May 17 from 1pm until the 3pm Memorial Service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. The Reverend Father Tom Magary will officiate.
Evelyn, you are now at peace with God. Even though we did keep in touch over the yrs, the memories never faded. Good times and laughs, thanks to Sears for getting us together. Thank you for your Friendship, Evelyn. Love, Lois My sympathies to Lew and Family.
