Florence Marie Trice, 84, of Weirton, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at her home. She was born December 22, 1931 in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec Canada, a daughter of the late Joseph and Aloysia Gaucher Maurice. She was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Trice in 1988, son Robert Benjamin Trice, brothers Joseph, Armand, Raule, Valerien, Adrien, Amie Maurice and sisters Marie Fournier and Simone Maurice.
Mrs. Trice was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church.
Florence is survived by her son Andre (Christine) Trice of Jewett, OH; daughter Henrietta Trice of Weirton; brother Phillip Maurice; sister Laurette Charpentier both of Canada; grandchildren Andrea, Adriana and Aaron Trice and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be celebrated at 11am Monday. The Reverend Father Anthony G. Thurston will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 229 California Avenue, Weirton, WV 26062.

God has given her a new residence up in heaven. He has stretched out his arms and welcomed her into his kingdom. Rest in peace knowing that God is watching over her.
Dear Andre and Henny, I’m sorry for your loss. We will all miss Aunt Florence very much. Her sense of humor and insight are some of my favorite things about her. I hope we will all have a big family reunion one day in Heaven. xx
