Frances E. Poulton
April 3, 1929 ~ November 14, 2005
Frances E. Poulton, 76, of Weirton died Monday November 14, 2005 at her home.
She was born on April 3, 1929 in Steubenville, OH, the daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha (Kieffer) McQuade. Frances was also preceded in death by her son, James L. Poulton, Jr.
Frances was a homemaker and a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. She was an avid bowler in the Steel Valley Lanes, winning numerous trophies through out the years.
She is survived by her husband, James L. Poulton; two sons, Thomas Poulton of Weirton and Robert Poulton of Myrtle Beach, SC; a daughter, Cynthia Cottrell and her husband Rocky of Weirton, WV; two brothers, Thomas McQuade, Jr. and Leonard McQuade both of Weirton, WV; a grandson Jason Poulton and his wife Nikki of Weirton.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, where funeral services will be held 9 AM Thursday.
Interment will follow at the Saint Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Athena’s Closet, Tony Terramana Cancer Center or to the Valley Hospice.

We loved her so much and had a hard time knowing the pain she was in. She faught so hard to stay with the family she loves. Fran will always be remembered in our hearts. She was our “Sweetie too.” She is holding her Jimmy Lee.

I can only imagine how proud she is looking down on her Great Grandson Jace. We miss her every day. She will be in our hearts forever.
