Francis S. Rosiak

Francis S. Rosiak, 78, of Weirton, died August 8, 2001, at the Weirton Geriatric Center. He was born April 27, 1923 in Cadiz, Ohio. The son of the late Walter and Valerie Rosiak. He was preceded in death by his wife Leta Craig Rosiak. Two brothers and two sisters also preceded him. Mr. Rosiak retired from the Weirton Steel Company, where he worked in the Blooming Mill Dept. as a scarfer with 37 years of service. He was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 year club, Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, and a US Navy veteran. He is survived by three sons, Francis Jr., of Weirton, Walter of Wellsburg, WV and Tim of New Cumberland, WV. Two daughters, Evelyn Craig and Linda Elliott, both of Weirton, W, and a sister Mary Canellas of Weirton, WV. He has nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, August 10, 2001, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home in Weirton. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be Saturday, August 11, 2001, 11:30AM at Sacred Heart of Mary Church. Interment will be at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Weirton, WV.
