Frank A. Hudacheck
June 9, 1933 ~ February 13, 2005
Frank A. Hudacheck, 71, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2005 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born June 9, 1933 in Brownsville, PA, he was the son of the late John B. and Anna Hudacheck. Frank was also preceded in death by his wife, Joan Marie (Garish) Hudacheck; brother, John Hudacheck who was killed in World War II; and sister, Anka Burgess.
Frank retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as a railroad car repairman in the Car Repair Department and was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. He also served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Frank’s survivors include his son, Frank J. Hudacheck and his wife Michele of Weirton; daughter, Karen A. Hudacheck of Magnolia, OH; brother, Joseph Hudacheck and his wife Edna of Weirton; sister, Helen Christenberry and her husband Don of Charlotte, NC; and grandchildren, Frank Tyler and Sarah Ann Hudacheck.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-9 and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. A Prayer Service will be held 3PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10AM Thursday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be at St. Paul Cemetery with Military Services being conducted by the VFW Firing Squad and the Evert Maki American Legion Post 10 Honor Guard.
