Frank Gaillas

Frank T. Gaillas, 78, of Weirton, died Thursday, April 18, 2002 at Trinity West Medical Center, Steubenville, Ohio. He was born June 21, 1923, in Weirton, WV, the son of the late Theodore and Calliope Kontogiannis Gaillas. Two brothers, Michael and Perry Gaillas, and a sister, Audrey Ligias, also preceded him. Frank retired from National Steel Corporation with 40 years of service. He was a foreman and worked in the Strip Steel Machine Shop. He was a member of the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church and the Weirton Steel Company 25-year club. One brother, Harry Gaillas of Toronto, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews survive him. Visitation will be Saturday, from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 1-3 and 7-9 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, WV. Frank will lie in state Monday from 11 AM to 12 noon, the time of service at the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church in Weirton. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Greek Section.
