Freda P. Furbee

Freda P. Hurst Furbee, 87 of New Cumberland, WV formerly of Weirton, WV died Wednesday July 4, 2001 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born on April 29, 1914 in Harrison County, WV, a daughter of the late George Robert and Lora Lutie Martin Hurst. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Gerald J. Furbee on October 20, 1987; a brother, Arthur M. Hurst; and a sister, Zulla B. Frater. Her daughter Marlene Cuic and her husband George, of New Cumberland survive. Also surviving are her 3 grandchildren, George Cuic, Daniel T. Cuic and his wife Brenda, all of New Manchester, and David Cuic and his wife Donna of Florida. Five great grandchildren, Christopher, Nichol, Tony, Daniel, Jr., and Chad Cuic all of New Manchester, and two great great grandchildren Zack and Ethen, survive. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Billy Ray Carpenter. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton, WV.
