Freddie Lee Adams, 61, of Weirton, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 in the Brightwood Center, Follansbee, WV. Born June 5, 1949 in Sistersville, WV, he was a son of the late Donald and Woneta Dalrymple Adams. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Timothy and Franklin Adams.
Freddie was a former employee of Ft. Steuben Products. He served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War.
Freddie is survived by his son Donald Adams and his wife Dannielle; daughter Brittany Adams all of Weirton; brother Curtis Adams of Steubenville; sisters Sherlene Smearman and Tinna Marie Adams both of Weirton and granddaughter Miranda Adams.
Friends will be received Thursday from 9am until the 11am funeral services at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Minister Larry E. Barkley will officiate. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
