Genevieve M. Taylor

Genevieve M. Taylor, 88, of Weirton, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at the Heritage Place in Weirton. Born March 14, 1918 in Steubenville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Victoria Trucillo Zawacki. Genevieve was also preceded in death by her husband J. Harold Taylor in 1978 and brother Henry Zawacki. Genevieve was a homemaker and was Catholic by faith. She loved bowling. Years ago, she won a double bowling championship. Genevieve’s survivors include her sons Lorace McQueen of Sarasota FL and James H. Taylor of Weirton; step-daughter Sue Taylor of Philadelphia, PA and grandchildren Paisley McQueen of New York and James H. Taylor III of Athens, GA. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00PM Saturday with Reverend Father Alfred Obiudu presiding.
