George (Bobby) Rosich
December 23, 1925 ~ May 30, 2001
George (Bobby) Rosich, 75 of Steubenville died May 30, 2001 at the Trinity West Medical Center.
He was born on December 23, 1925 in Steubenville, OH the son of the late Milos and Dragica (Solja) Rosich. A daughter Bobby Lynn Rosich, a brother Michael Rosich and 2 sisters Zorna Molly Badis and Mildred Merlo also preceded him in death.
George retired from Weirton Steel, with 38 years of service in the tin mill as a lab analyst. He was a member of Weirton Steel 25 year club, and the American Legion Argonne Post #33 of Steubenville. He served in the US Navy in WWII, Pacific Fleet USS O’Bannon.
He is survived by 3 sons, Robert Daniel & wife Beverly of Mansfield OH, Kevin of Chicago, IL and Vernon Scott & wife Debbie of Naples, Italy; 2 daughters Coleen Rosich of Rodgers, OH and Kelly Rosich of Las Vegas, NV; 5 sisters Donna Olga Warryn Markus,Chicago, Mrs. Albert (Helen) Barnabie, and Mrs. John(Dorothy)Rateau both of Weirton, Mrs. Maurice(Mary) Reynolds,Brentwood, CA and Mrs.Duane(Diane)Morris,Saginaw,MI; 4 grandchildren Tyler, Allyson, Evan and Nathan Rosich.
Visitation will be Sunday 7-9 PM at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton.
Funeral service will be at 11 AM Monday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Highland Hill Memorial Gardens with a Military Service conducted by American Legion Post 10 Honor Guard, V.F.W. #2716 firing squad and Tri-State Marine Corp.
