George and I are 1st cousins, through my Mom and his Dad, my Uncle Mike (my Mom’s favorite brother). I remember all the family gathering every year for Christmas and Easter at our Baba’s house in PA. Those were the best of times! It gave all the cousins a chance to re-bond and stay in touch. George was always fun to be around. He was kind and a really wonderful person, and never made us ‘little kids’ feel we were in the way. He was a sharp dresser, too! I saw him for the last time, unbeknown to either of us, sadly, Feb. 2013 at my Mom’s funeral, just before we moved to Florida. I hope all who love George will take comfort in knowing he is with our Lord, and he was lovingly greeted there by a humongous crowd of family and friends. May his Memory Be Eternal! My deepest condolences to his family. Helen Mellott Bednarczyk
