  12. Dear Dianne and Family, There is no greater loss than someone so dear and close as a husband. Life is changed – not taken away. George just went ahead. As a believer of God, life’s final journey leads to the grace and beauty that waits for us in heaven. A loving God knows best. It is God’s will .. His Eternal Plan that we should relinquish our loved ones for a while with the inner assurance that we will one day be together again. God knows how hard it is to be apart from those we love. As you walk through this difficult time you are not alone. Jesus walks with you to comfort, strengthen and guide. Grief is in a way a solitary journey. No one but you can know how great the hurt is. No one but you can know the gaping hole left in your life. It is the nature of love and of death to touch every person in a totally unique way. Grief is a necessity, it is the price of love. We need to experience all the journey has to offer, needs to offer, must offer for us to heal. There is no blueprint – just do what is good for your soul. Let your heart be filled with gladness that you were given the many years you did share with George. Hold on to your memories and George will always be where you are. At this time of sadness, we just wanted to express how grateful we feel to have crossed paths with both of you. Bob and George met in the 50’s graduating together as good friends from Follansbee HS in 61. When we received news of George’s passing , Bob was relating good memories shared with tears in his eyes. George certainly will continue to live in our memories and heart but now the memories have become a treasure. With much regret, we are unable to attend the services due to health problems but we can share in the sorrows of the world and still be certain of God’s great love. …one of life’s mysteries.

With deepest sympathy for the loss of one so loved. In our prayer. Bob and Christel Lantz

  13. Candle Selection 1Mr K was my fav teacher at Smithfield High School. I was in 7th grade study hall, and scared to death of him, till I got to know him. He was a wonderful man, coach & teacher. Later in life when I became a teacher we got to be great friends. My husband Rich also worked with him and they used to work out at the Y together. I especially enjoyed our times at the Greek Festival in Weirton. George always took good care of us. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
