Gilda Marie Paris
September 16, 1930 ~ June 12, 2005
Gilda Marie Paris, 74, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2005 at her home.
Born September 16, 1930 in Weirton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antonetta (Gallo) Paris.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Lena Kevari, brothers Tom and John, half-sisters Vera Wellman and Sister Ann and half-brothers Ben, Michael, Herman and Tony.
A much loved sister and aunt, Gilda was the most generous, kind, thoughtful, devoted person and will be sorely missed by her family.
With over 30 years of service, Gilda retired as an Assistant Vice-President of United National Bank in December, 1996.
She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sisters Mary Paris of Weirton, Rose Dicks of Point Marion, WV and Sister Carmen Paris of Columbus, OH and brothers Thomas and Joseph Paris of Weirton. She is also survived by her niece Marie Powers, whom she helped to raise, and many other nieces and nephews.
At Gilda’s request, there will be no visitation. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Funeral Liturgy with Mass 10:00AM Wednesday at St. Paul Church. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
