Gladys M. Sauer, 88, of Georgetown, PA, passed away Wednesday, December 05, 2007 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born May 11, 1919 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Bick McGowan. Gladys was also preceded in death by her husband George E. Sauer.
Gladys was a homemaker and is survived by her son George and his wife Bunny of Georgetown, PA; brother Wilbert McGowan and his wife Carole of Oil City, PA; grandsons James Sauer and his wife Erica and Joseph Sauer and his wife Nicole and 4 great grandchildren Alexis, Michael, Sabrina and James Sauer.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.

Uncle George, I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I have fond memories of her and your dad from when I was a little girl. I remember coming to your house with my parents, then Mac and I running across the field to your mom and dad’s to play. (I still remember the Sesame Street little people playset!)
