There are no words to express how much Gloria will be missed and the impact she made on so many lives, especially mine. She was like a second mom and good friend all rolled into one. She loved all of you so very much and was so proud of each and everyone of you!! I know how hard this will be for you but she will always be with you in your hearts and memories. She will live on through each of you–you are her legacy! I will miss her ever so much, and please know that I loved her! If there is anything I can do, please don’t hesitate to ask!!

So very sorry to hear about Your mom. What a great lady. She was always so welcoming to all those who entered your home. I feel lucky to have experienced that love.
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Aunt Gloria. I regret never telling her how much she had a impact on my life. One of many times was in 1993 when I graduated from high school and was attending Basic Training in the Army only days later. Needles to say I was scared. I received a card in the mail from Aunt Gloria and Uncle Eddie congratulating me. She had wrote something in that card that stuck with me: “Junior, you are the only one that’s going to make yourself successful!” She was telling me that no one was going to do it for me, that I had to do it myself. I never forgot this and I contribute a lot of my success to her and Uncle Eddy. I remember we used to talk a lot on the phone and when she would say hello, I would come back with some kind of joke like I needed to borrow $3000 dollars to buy this 1967 Chevy Impala because my wife wouldn’t give me the money. Right away she would say in a really serious voice, ” Well I don’t know why your calling me!” She had the greatest sense of humor. Uncle Eddie, John, Danny, Lisa And Eddie, thank you for sharing her with us all those years. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
