Grace Marie Lenhart

Grace Marie Lenhart, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021, in the Valley Hospice Care Center, North, Steubenville, OH. She was 94. Grace was born April 23, 1927, in Steubenville, Ohio, the daughter of the late George Dewey and Myrtle Wenham Fraley. She was also preceded in death by her husband Alvin D. Lenhart on February 9, 2007, brother Robert Fraley and son in law Raymond Fijewski. Mrs. Lenhart served for 14 years as treasurer of the WMC Ladies Auxiliary. She loved volunteering at the information desk, was a member of the First Christian Church, where she served as Deaconess and Sunday School Teacher. She was also a member of Beta Signa Phi, Weirton Women’s Club and the Garden Club. Grace is survived by her daughters Janice (Michael) Petrovich, Lisa Powell, Susan Fijewski and Karen (Doug) Reese; grandchildren Deana VanDer Kamp, Jessica Gibson, Erica DeCaria, Kristen Worthy, Donald Reese and Tyler Reese and great-grandchildren Rabeka, Lexus and Jessie Rowland, Jonah and Caleb VanDer Kamp, Khristopher and Heaven Gibson, Danyka DeCaria and Savannah Reese. Friends will be received Saturday 1-6 pm at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be celebrated 10 am Sunday. The Reverend Kevin Bowers will officiate. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
