Grace Marie Orlando

Grace Marie Orlando, of Weirton, WV, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 95.

Grace was born on June 29, 1927, in Empire, OH, the youngest of nine children born to Salvatore and Mary Cordaro. Growing up in a large family, Grace learned the importance of hard work and perseverance from an early age, values that would stay with her for the rest of her life, as she worked as a bookkeeper for Arkin/ Tri State Auto Parts for 44 continuous years.

Grace was the mother of one son, Michael Robert “Bob” Orlando. She was also a proud grandmother to Jessica Anne Connell, and Janeen Marie Weinch and a great grandmother to Austin, Nico, Adrianna, Bianca, and Carmine Connell and Rocky and Dean Weinch.

Grace nourished her faith as a member of Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her brothers, Dominic, Peter and Tony Orlando and her sisters, Virginia Marinacci, Angela DiBenedetto, Pauline Orlando, Elizabeth Santicola and Jenny Crognale

She will be deeply missed by her son, Bob, and his wife, Cyndi along with granddaughters, Jessica (Doug) Connell and Janeen (Michael) Weinch. Also missing her will be her 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday at Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Weirton.

Fr. Binu Sebastian will preside.

Grace will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville.
