Harry ''Dewey'' Craig

Harry D. “Dewey” Craig, 65, of Weirton, died Monday, February 25, 2002 at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio. He was born January 15, 1937 in Hanlin Station, Pa. He is the son of Katherine Monseau Craig of Paris, Pa. and the late Wayne Craig. A son Steven Craig, a daughter Tina Marie Craig, a stepdaughter Linda Young Bonar, a brother Billy Craig and a sister Kathy Craig also preceded him.
Dewey retired from the Open-Hearth department where he was a millwright. He had 37 ½ years with the company. He was a member of the 25- year club of Weirton Steel Co. He worked part time for the State Line Restaurant for 8 years. He was Nazarene by faith. He was also part owner of Joan’s Family Restaurant and Young and Craig’s Catering service. Harry was an outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish, and play golf.
In addition to his mother his adopted parents Isadore and Irene Monseau survive him. His wife Joan Brown Craig of Weirton, who he married June 18, 1977, survives him. He has a son Michael Craig and his wife Debbie of Canton, Ohio; two step-sons, Thomas Young of Hayward Ca; and Daniel Young of Sioux Falls, SD; three daughters Nancy Rochinich of Steubenville, Oh, Becky and Pamela Craig of Ocala, Fl; one brother Richard Craig and his wife Evelyn of Weirton. He has four sisters; Mrs. John Shirley Puskarich and Mrs. Homer Diane Pearce both of Weirton; Mrs., Miron Wanda Donkey of Chester, WV; and Mrs. Sharon Ferrelli of Paris, Pa. A grandson James M. Bonar Jr. who lives with Joan and Harry, 22 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survives.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2002 from 7-9PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, WV. Mr. Craig will lie in state Friday from 10:00AM until time of services at 11:00AM, at the Paris Nazarene Church, Paris, Pa.
Interment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.

UNCLE DEWEY WAS A GREAT MAN. HE WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE UNCLES. HE REALLY LOVED HIS COFFEE AND HIS WIFE:) HE WILL GREATLY MISSED. WE LOVED HIM.
