Helen E. Zdinak
January 6, 1924 ~ October 21, 2000
Mrs. Helen E. Zdinak, 76, of Weirton, Passed away in her home on Saturday morning. She was the owner and operator of the Jo-L's Cove Bakery in Weirton for 8 years.
She was born on January 6, 1924, the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Gaydos Pytash.
Her husband, Alex passed away in 1971.
Helen was a member of Saint Marys Byzantine Church and enjoyed being a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She served her country in WWII in the Women's Army Corp. She was also a member of the Four Seasons Senior Citizens and the AARP.
Mrs. Zdinak has three sons, Alex and Stephen of Weirton and James of Wilmington, Ohio. She is also survived by one brother, John Pytash of Vintondale, PA, two sisters Mary Domanico of Salem, OH and Ann Herman of Parma and two step grandaughters.
Visitation hours are from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday October 23, 2000, where Parastas Services will be held at 8 PM. Blessing Services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 AM, followed by funeral services at 10:00 AM at Saint Marys Byzantine Catholic Church.
Interment in will be in Saint Paul Cemetery.
