Helen Isabelle Swearingen

Helen Isabelle Swearingen, 91, of Weirton, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North. Born January 9, 1924 in Columbus, OH, Helen was the daughter of the late Floyd Raymond and Evaline (Huffines) Parkinson. Helen was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Swearingen. Helen was a homemaker and was Protestant by faith. Helen is survived by her son, Donald A. Swearingen III (Barbara) of Wellsburg, WV; daughter Donna Peck (Harry) of Vero Beach, FL; 4 grandchildren, Christy Peck, Crystal Higgins (Jake), Sherrie Stump (Bryan), and Donald A. Swearingen IV (Jessica); and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 12 noon until the 1PM funeral service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV with Rev. Dana Snodgrass officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton, WV.
