Helen Kolosky, 81, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2006 at Winter Park Memorial Hospital in Winter Park, FL. She was born October 5, 1924, in Benwood, WV the daughter of the late John and Helena Ticich Pastorich. Her husband, Louis J. Kolosky, and her brother, John Pastoric, also preceded her. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. After 34 years of service in the dietary department, Helen retired from the Weirton General Hospital. She was also a faithful parishioner of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Weirton. Helen is survived by her son, Frank J. Kolosky and his wife Kathleen of Longwood, FL; daughter, Linda McCardel and her husband Tom of Weirton, WV; and grandson, Matthew Kolosky of Longwood, FL. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where a vigil service will be held Tuesday at 3:30 PM in the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00AM at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton, with Fr. Tony Thurston as celebrant. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, 207 Debbie Ann Lane, Wheeling, WV 26003 or St Paul’s Catholic Church, 140 Walnut Street, Weirton, WV 26062.
