Helen M. Collo

Helen M. Collo, 72 of Weirton, Died Sunday May 13, 2001 at the home of her sister. She was born on December 2, 1928 in Weirton, WV, the daughter of the late Alex and Emma Boniti Collo. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Verna Collevecchio. Helen was a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church and the Order Sons of Italy in America Antonio Meucci Lodge 2506. Helen is survived by her two brothers, Albert and Frank Collo; her three sisters Mary Frazee, Regina Truax and Janet Backel all of Weirton. She is also survived by four nieces, Leslie Taflan, Denise Jones, Deanna Hvizdak and Donna Kolanko; three nephews, Gary Frazee, Christopher Backel and Jason A.Backel and nine great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-9 Tuesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday at Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church.
