Helen Margaret Anthony
August 1, 1917 ~ August 27, 2001
Helen Margaret Anthony 84, of Weirton, died Monday at the Weirton, Medical Center. She was born August 1, 1917 in Langeloth, Pa., daughter of the late Valer Romonoski and Josephine Olsheski Romonoski. Her husband Stanley J. Anthony Sr., a brother Joseph Romonoski, and two sisters, Jean Kuritz and Lorraine Bingiel, also preceded her.
Helen was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Weirton, WV. She retired from the Weirton Medical Center as a nurse’s aide, with 13 years of service.
She is survived by a son, Stanley Anthony Jr. and his wife, Nancy of Burgettstown, Pa., two daughters Mrs. Richard Sandra Donnelly of Weirton, WV, and Mrs. Ken Celeste Myers of Beckley, WV. eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 7-9Pm and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9PM. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St. Weirton, WV. Funeral liturgy with mass will be Friday, August 31, 2001, 10:00AM at St. Joseph the Worker church, Weirton.
A prayer service will be held Thursday evening at 7:30PM in the funeral home.
Interment will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Burgettstown, Pa.
Mrs. Anthony’s favorite charity was St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Building Fund, 229 California Ave, Weirton, WV 26062
