Helen Sabol Volosin

Helen Sabol Volosin, 96, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Weirton, WV, passed away February 7, 2014. She was born on June 24, 1917, in Follansbee, WV, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Sabol. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Volosin, sister Josephine Hunt, two half-sisters, Anne Sopko and Mary Maksin, and a brother, Mike Sayske. She is survived by her children, Charles Volosin III (Helen); Barbara (Tom) Elsass and Michelle Kendall; sisters-in law, Mary V. Evans and Helen Orenzuk; brothers-in-law, George and Mike Volosin; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; Funeral services were held in Columbus on Feb. 15, at St. Stevan Eastern Orthodox Church. Interment followed at Resurrection Cemetery, North Lewis Center, OH.
