Helga E. Sarap
August 8, 1931 ~ June 4, 2008
Helga E. Sarap, 76, of Weirton, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Born August 8, 1931 in West Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Aldoph and Eva Zimmerman. Mrs. Sarap was also preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Mrs. Sarap was a homemaker and Protestant by faith.
Helga is survived by her daughters Linda Sarap of Steubenville, OH and Debbie Hendershot and her husband Chuck of Colliers, WV; grandchildren Shawn Sarap and Jason Little; great grandson Gino Little and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10 until the 11AM Memorial Service on Saturday, June 7 at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV 26062.

To Debbie and Linda–I’m very sorry for your loss. I worked with Helga at the American Legion and she became like a grandmother to me. She would sit and play machines to keep me company after her shift ended. I miss the talks she and I used to have. Know that she will be greatly missed.
Linda and Debbie I am so sorry to hear about your Mother,It has been a long time since I have seen you both,I think Shawn was a little baby the last time.My prayers are with you and your familys.Rest well Mrs Sarap.
