Hester E. Betty McCullough

Hester E. Betty McCullough, 77, of Weirton, died June 21, 2002 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born November 19, 1924 in New Manchester, WV, the daughter of the late Thomas and Dora Pugh. Her first husband Ralph “Crib” Blake, and a sister Dorothy Allison also preceded her. Betty was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Weirton, the Weirton Women’s Club, the First United Methodist Women’s Club and AARP # 3846. Betty was retired from the Hancock County Court House, where she was Chief Deputy of the County Clerks office. Betty is survived by her husband, Harold “Mac” McCullough of Weirton, two sons, Gregory Blake and his wife Veronica, Jerry Blake and his wife Patty, all of New Cumberland, WV. One stepson Robert McCullough and his wife Deborah of Warren, Ohio, two step daughters, Judy Tall and her husband Ralph of Huntington Beach, Ca. and Debra Libengood and her husband Lee II, of Weirton. She has one brother Thomas Pugh Jr., of Lacey, Washington, and one sister Kathleen Gracie of New Cumberland, WV. She has 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held Sunday, 1:00PM at the New Cumberland Cemetery Chapel, New Cumberland, WV.
