Ida Mae Littleton, 75, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born April 20, 1935 in Steubenville, OH, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Colantonio and Genieve Gallupoli Colantonio Schiappa. She was also preceded in death by her husband Orva Lynn Littleton and her step-father Espedito Schiappa. Mrs. Littleton retired from The City of Weirton where she worked in the Public Works Department. She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, Chairperson of St. Paul Grade School Committee, American Legion Post 10 Women's Auxiliary and the Hancock County Democratic Women. Ida is survived by her three sons, Raymond, John and his wife Michele and Joseph and his wife Patti; brothers Mario Colantonio and his wife Rose and John Colantonio and his wife Rita all of Weirton and seven grandchildren, Rayanna, John, Joseph, Jenna, Ashley, Thomas, and Rachael. Private family visitation will be held 7PM Thursday evening. Ida's family would like to invite their family and friends to attend the 11AM Funeral Liturgy with Mass on Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Larry Dorsch will officiate. Entombment will be in the St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
