Irene R. Keifer

Irene R. Keifer, 79, of New Cumberland, died Thursday, January 9, 2003 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born June 10, 1923 in Weirton, the daughter of the late Homer and Gertrude Rhoades Morgan. Irene was also preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Morgan. Irene was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her husband Wayne C. Keifer ; a son, Wayne D. Keifer both of New Cumberland; four daughters, Dorothy J. Roach of Vandergrift, PA, Joanne McClain of Weirton, Mary Ellen Whetstone of Quincy, Massachusetts and Brenda Hershberger of Akron, Ohio and a brother John Morgan of Steubenville; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Additional visitation will be Sunday 1PM until time of services at 2 PM at the Tri State Church of God , 3519 West Street Weirton, WV.
