Ivan L. Carl

Ivan L. Carl, 69, of Weirton, died Thursday April 11, 2002 at his home.
He was born on August 11, 1932 in Avella, PA, the son of the late Earl and Irene Craig Carl. His daughter, Mary Ann Carl, also preceded Ivan in death.
He served in the United States Air Force from 1955 until 1958. He was the owner and operator of Gio’s Family Restaurant in Weirton.
Surviving include his wife, Mary L. (Muscara) Carl of Weirton; a son, Tom Carl of Mingo Jct., OH; a step son, Jeffrey Wakefield of New Cumberland, WV; his daughters, Janet Carl Games of New Port Richey, FL and Belva Saggio of Weirton, WV; his step daughters, Diandra Yoklic of Weirton, WV and Kristen Lacik of Chesapeake, VA; his three brothers, John Carl of Avella, PA, William Carl of New Manchester, WV and Riley Carl of Hickory, PA; five grandchildren and five step grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1-3 & 7-9 PM Sunday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday.
Entombment will follow in Saint Paul Mausoleum.
