James Fulciniti

James Fulciniti, 78, of Weirton died Saturday May 10, 2014, at the Dixon Nursing Home in Wintersville, OH. Born on November 22, 1935, in Follansbee, WV, James was a son of the late Luigi and Antoinette Conti Fulciniti. He was also preceded in death by his son, John Louis Fulciniti; his two brothers, Joseph and Samuel Fulciniti; and his two sisters, Carmelina Calisi and Mary Caliguri. He was a graduate of the Follansbee High School Class of 1955 and West Liberty State College. James served his country with the United States Army. James retired after 30 years from Weirton Steel, where he worked in Administrative Services. He also was a tour guide for 10 years with the Funseekers. He is survived by his wife, Janet Marie Bilkowski Fulciniti, whom he married on July 28, 1962; his sons, James E. and Kelly Fulciniti of Beaver Falls, PA and Joseph Paul Fulcinti and Mindy Woodland of Weirton, WV; his daughter, Julie Ann and Brian Colabove of Altoona, PA; his brother, Frank Fulciniti of Cincinnati, OH; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. Rev. Fr. Manuel Gelido will preside. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville, OH where Military Services will be conducted by the American Legion Honor Guard.
