James L. Fortune

James L. Fortune, 60, of Weirton, WV died Thursday, November 22, 2001, at his residence. He was born on December 10, 1940 in Seguin, Texas, the son of the late Victor Fortune and Ruth Gann Fortune Allred. James retired from the City of Weirton as a meter reader in the Water Department. He served his country in the United States Army. His step- father Hal Allred of Weirton, WV survives. He is also survived by his wife, Margaret Smith Fortune, whom he married on January 22, 1960; his son Randy Fortune of Weirton; his daughter, Candy Fortune of Weirton, WV; his half brother, Hal Allred, Jr. of Florida and his two half sisters Marilyn Allred and Kathy Wyatt both of Weirton. Visitation will be 7-9 PM Saturday and 1-3 & 7-9 PM Sunday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, where funeral services will be held at 11AM Monday.
