James M. Majoris
August 24, 1944 ~ January 9, 2021
James M. Majoris of Wintersville, OH, formerly of Weirton, WV, died Saturday, January 9, 2021. He was 76 years old.
James was born in Windber, PA, on August 24, 1944, one of four children and the only son of Michael F. and Ann Golish Majoris.
Jim graduated from Weirton Madonna High School in 1962 and furthered his education at West Liberty State College.
He was married to Donna Dalesio Majoris for 24 years.
He provided for his family by working at Weirton Steel as a slitter operator in the sheet mill for 24 years.
He loved the simple things in life. He enjoyed listening to sixties and seventies music, sitting on his porch, talking to his family, and keeping everybody up to date with what was happening with family and friends. You could say he was the thread that weaved the family together.
Jim was a devout catholic. He nourished his faith at Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church in Weirton and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Wintersville.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3734 and the Moose Lodge 688.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 24 years, Donna Dalesio Majoris
Jim will be remembered with love by his son, Michael J. Majoris, his daughter, Melissa (David) Karas; grandchildren, Lauren Karas (Jon), Emilee Karas, Isaac and Martina Majoris; his sisters, Barbara (Ronald) Hoenig, David (Carol) Bradley, and Michele Krnaich; former daughter in law, Trinity Doudna; several nieces and nephews; and his grand puppies, Kingston, Elsa, and Callie.

Barb and Ron and family, So sorry to hear of your loss. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
My deepest condolence to Jim’s son Michael and daughter Melissa and their families on the loss of their father. Jimmy was a special cousin who I grew up with and shared many good memories in a small coal mining town of a Windber PA. I reached out to him when his mom passed and we set different dates to talk and reminisce about our life experiences. He will be missed.
My deepest sympathy to Jimmy’s family. May you find peace and comfort in the days ahead knowing God has him in his arms. Growing up a few houses down from Jimmy in Windber we were close cousins. I was even in Carol’s wedding. I remember all the wonderful times playing outdoors. Rest in peace cousin you will be missed. Love Rita in Michigan.
I’m sorry that I will not be able to attend the visitation due to a prior commitment. Being the Majoris’s neighbor, I remember Jimmy very well.
With all our love, may all gods Angel’s be with your entire family during your time of need. Our hearts are with you. From Jon’s family, The Renforths
