Janet Rossi Holbrook, 50, loving mother, daughter, wife, sister, and friend, died Tuesday June 15, 2010, at Weirton Medical Center.
Born April 5, 1960, in East Liverpool, OH, Janet is a daughter of Dino and Pat (Blake) Rossi of Weirton.
Janet was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gerald and Delora Blake and Frank and Lucy Rossi.
Prior to her illness, Janet was an insurance agent with Western Southern. She enjoyed making ceramics, watching soap operas, and most of all swimming at Starvaggi Pool, and taking care of children.
In addition to her mother and father, Janet is survived by her husband, Daniel Holbrook, sons, Jeffrey and Sean Holbrook; daughter, Shannon Holbrook all of Weirton; brother, Dino Rossi of Columbus, OH, sisters, Wendy Mosslander (William) of Rayland, OH, Dina Carnes (Joe) of Weirton, WV; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services are 1 PM Friday.
Rev. Fr. Dean Borgmeyer will preside.
Entombment will be in Saint Paul Cemetery.
