jeannine tingler

Jeannine Tingler, 95, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2026. Her final moments were spent at home, surrounded by family. She was born March 14, 1930, in Bridgeville, PA, to the late Mary Ellen and Percy Fisher.

On March 20, 1946, Jeannine married her husband and lifelong teammate, Harold Tingler, beginning a partnership grounded in love, faith, and devotion to family. For more than 60 years, Jeannine was a faithful member of the Eastern Star and 70 years at the First United Methodist Church, where her gentle spirit and kindness touched many lives.

Jeannine will be remembered for her unwavering faith, generous heart, and deep love for her friends and family. She found joy in crocheting clothing and blankets for others, making her cherished pierogi, attending church, and spending time with those she loved. She especially loved spending time with her “boys” Stevie, Allan and Henry. Her family and friends will forever treasure her favorite sayings: “Never Fear, God is Here,” “God loves you and so do I,” and “See you later.”

In addition to her parents, Jeannine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Tingler; sister, Dorothy Fisher, her son, Mark Tingler; her brother, Bill Fisher; and her grandson, Shane Tingler.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Earla Tingler (Jim) Turcich of Plant City, Florida, and Tamara Tingler (Jim) Zanoni of Riverview, Florida; grandchildren Dr. Jill (Dr. Steve) Pineda, Holly (Daniel) Schlobach, Zachary (Isabelle) Volpi, Priscilla Zanoni, and Jennifer Tingler; and great grandchildren.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Lifepath Hospice of Tampa, Florida, especially Carlos and Julianna, for their compassion and gentle care in her final journey of life.

The family would also like to thank Barb Selmon, Kenny, and Audrey Tingler, for their compassion, love, and friendship.

  2. Tracy Fisher Warner says:

I’m sorry to hear of Jeanine’s passing. I have so many great memories of her. I remember walking in the house and going to the kitchen with home made spaghetti noodles drying. And going through and picking out Barbie clothes that she made. She was a wonderful caring individual.

  3. Candle Selection 5Aunt Jeannine was a pioneer women by far. Teaching anyone who would learn – crochet, sew Barbie clothes, sew quilts, make many crafts and then to growing what they ate. Freezing, canning, and little tricks – like cinnamon red hots in applesauce to make it pink. I forever will be grateful to all the time she spent with me – teaching and loving on me. There is no one else like her. God has an angel in heaven now and I am so happy she went to be with her Lord and Savior. She talked about heaven and I know it’s more than she expected. “Well done my good and faithful servant” !
