Jerri Kay Deller

Jerri Kay (Norris) Deller, beloved daughter, mother, and grandmother, passed away at her home in New Cumberland, West Virginia, on September 14, 2026.

Born November 11, 1955, in Bellaire, Ohio, she was a daughter of Lewis and Rhoda Chapman Norris and a graduate of Wintersville High School, Class of 1973.

Jerri’s warmth and kindness were evident in every interaction; she truly never knew a stranger. Her friend Anna Marie once described her as having “the biggest heart anyone had ever known,” a sentiment shared by all whom she encountered.

Known for her joyful spirit, Jerri worked as a Blackjack Dealer at Mountaineer Resort, where she made many lifelong friends. She was a devoted Christian, finding strength and comfort in her faith by attending New Life Church in Weirton.

Jerri’s life was marked by a generous heart and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. The love she shared with them was a bright light in her life, and they were a source of great joy for her.

An amazing singer with a love for Christian music, Jerri performed at events such as the “Stand Up for Steel Rally” and sang with the Weirton Ministerial Society. Her pure heart and commitment to honesty were evident in her relationships and community involvement.

A true fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jerri loved sharing weekends filled with laughter, shopping, concerts, enjoying time with her daughter and grandkids, and dining out with her dear friend Anna Marie.

Jerri was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Ave Ryan, Sarah (Matthew) Mankowski, grandchildren Ethan Fisher and Abriella Ryan, and her best friend, Anna Marie Kaser.

Friends can visit Jerri’s family on Thursday, September 24, from 6:00 pm until the time of her 7:00 pm Celebration of Life Service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. 26062.

Pastor Zachary Adams will officiate.
